Everybody is invited to the summer-camp of our metroZones Schule, from September 15th to 18th in Hamburg!
Learning by doing and discussing, mapping, storytelling and constructions, urban soundscapes, refugee visualities and technopolitica – all around connecting spaces and practices.
That includes but goes far beyond digitalities.

In der aktuellen metro-Zones-Schule verknüpfen wir vielfältigste digitale Praktiken mit dem sozialen Raum der Stadt. Wie müssen wir unsere Vorstellung von städtischer Öffentlichkeit erweitern, wenn wir digitale Netze und Werkzeuge nutzen, netzbasiertes Radio machen oder Geschichten erzählen? Welche Rolle spielt das Digitale für die Organisation des Alltags, für Mobilisierungen, Raumnahmen – und städtisches Handeln?
In the current metroZones-School, we intertwine a wide range of digital practices with the social space of the city. How do we have to expand our concep- tion of urban public space if we put our digital networks and tools to use through, for example, web-based radio or telling stories? What role does the digital play in organising daily life, in mobilising and claiming spaces – and in urban practices?
